Union Apprenticeship Programs
Ever wish you could be a carpenter or a mason…a chef or a firefighter? Such jobs are in high demand, but how do you go about learning a new trade if you've never even hammered a nail? Apprenticeship Training is one way to tackle this problem. This program lets you work with experienced tradespeople, who will teach you the skills required for a new profession. Through an apprentice program, you work while you learn and are paid a salary in return for your services. The following list includes formal Apprenticeship Committees, by trade, that serve Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.
