Training There are a number of agencies and programs that can help you with everything from the basics (food, shelter, clothing) to childcare, counseling, or legal advice. The best place to begin your search is the Humboldt Community Switchboard, which lets you search through every agency in Humboldt County to find the service or organization you're looking for. The switchboard lets you search by keyword or Agency name, so, for example, if you don't know the name of organizations that provide housing information, try searching for "housing." A list of links will pop up; simply click on the one you're interested in, and you'll get a full description of the agency and the services provided, as well as their address, hours, phone numbers, and website address if applicable |
