3). Caregiver Training with Area 1 Agency on Aging:
Their Professional Caregiver Job Training Course will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-900pm, October 1 through November 12. Cost is $275. For more information and to register, call Jan at (707) 442-3763, ext. 223.
4). Beginning Bookkeeping Training:
The Job Market and College of the Redwoods is offering this training on the fundamentals of bookkeeping, with hands-on applications and system building. The class emphasizes bookkeeping for the small business environment while utilizing and learning the popular bookkeeping software tool, Quickbooks. The training will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-12:30pm, from October 26 to December 16, and Tuesdays on December 8 and 15. The cost is $595 - the deadline to seek scholarships through The Job Market is October 12. The location is at CR's Community Education office at 525 D Street in Eureka. 5). Retail Sales Training for Youth & Young Adults:
The Job Market and College of the Redwoods is offering a hands-on training program for youth looking to acquire the essential skills to get a job this holiday season from October 13 - November 2, Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at CR's Community Education site (525 D Street in Eureka).
