The Employment Development Department (EDD) develops and supports programs to help veterans obtain employment, job training, and job counseling. Veterans can register with CalJOBS to receive veteran's priority in job referrals and develop an on-line resume. In addition, the EDD provides other services such as tips on resume preparation and interviewing techniques, as well as information regarding the labor market and apprenticeship programs.
